My 8 year old opened this on his birthday and literally has not put it down since lol. Him and his sister both loved it, so of course we had to get her one too!

      Feel Like A Real Superhero

Flick your wrist and a glowing web shoots out at lightning speed, then zips right back into the launcher. It's the closest thing to slinging real webs, and kids, teens and parents all want a turn.

Finally pulls him off the tablet

My son is 7 and would spend all day on his iPad if I let him. This is the first toy in a long time that actually gets him off the screen. He's been outside every afternoon practicing. The USB charging is huge for me too — no running out for AA batteries at 9pm.

The glow is better than I expected

I was skeptical about the glow-in-the-dark part being a gimmick, but it actually works really well. We shut the lights off in the living room and it looked incredible. My kids love it!

Hit of my son's birthday party

Grabbed this for my son's birthday and every one of his friends wanted a turn. Had to tell them it was a one-per-kid situation. The string retracts so fast it genuinely looks like a real web. He is obsessed with it.

      FAQs

      help

What ages is the SpiderSling best for?

It's a hit with kids 6 and up, teens and adults. Kids as young as 4 can play too, with a grown-up nearby for supervision.

      help

      How does it actually work?

Strap the launcher on your wrist, press the button and a loop of string shoots out at high speed, then zips right back in. Turn off the lights and the web glows, so night play looks even cooler.

Tip: keep your palm facing down as the string retracts to keep it tangle-free.

      help

      Is it safe for kids?

Yes. The soft string loop stays attached to the launcher the whole time, so nothing flies off or gets lost. For the best play, keep it away from faces, pets and long hair.

      help

How is it charged and how long does it last?

It recharges with the included USB cable, so there are no batteries to buy or replace. One charge gives hours of play time, and the built-in light keeps the glow string glowing as you play.

      help

What if my kids don't love the SpiderSling?

My kids are 6 and 9 and they are both obsessed. The webs shoot out fast and reels back in on their own, which is what makes it feel like a real spider web. We've been playing outside after dinner and once it gets dark.

Bought one for my son and had to order a second one two days later because his little brother wouldn't stop asking for a turn. Took them about 5 minutes to get the hang of it and now they're pulling off all sorts of cool tricks. Charges with a regular USB cable too, which is convenient.

Honestly didn't expect much, these trendy toys usually fizzle out in a week around here. But three weeks in and my son is still obsessed. He's learned to loop it, jump through it, and even pick up small stuff with it. The glow at night is a huge win too

Got this for my grandson's birthday after my daughter sent me a video of one online. He opened it, we loaded the string, and he hasn't put it down since. The wrist strap is comfortable and the button is easy enough for little fingers. He's been showing it off to all his friends at school.

My 10 year old daughter asked for this and I was surprised because she's usually more into crafty stuff. Turns out she loves the challenge of learning tricks. We watched a few videos together and now she's teaching me. The glow is her favorite part — she's been web-slinging against the hallway wall every night before bed.

Dad review here — I'll admit I tried it before my son got to open it. It's genuinely fun. Shoots farther than I expected and the retract is fast enough that the string doesn't drag on the ground. My son's been outside with it every day after school. Easy five stars from both of us.
